The School of Nursing defines diversity as the intersections of various identities, including, but not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, language, religion, age, size, and ability level.  The School of Nursing’s Diversity Initiatives strives to foster an academic environment that welcomes diversity in the curriculum, students, and faculty. The School of Nursing educates nursing students about health equity in our local, regional, national and global communities.
